Sheet masks as most of us are familiar with are well-known for their convenience. Just piak one on your face, lie back for about 15 minutes and peel them off. Though not in my "beauty routine",  I use them for important events and my makeup goes on like wee! (Not "wee" as in erhem, don't spoil the atmosphere!)
And, they make excellent travel companions!

How do they work? They cool down the skin surface to allow the contraction of the pores and the duration of masking (usually about 10-15 minutes) floods the skin with moisture. The formula of the essence is also a determinant on the extent of skin betterment.

Q10 & SILK PROTEIN FINE FAIRNESS MASK (pink)
WITCH HAZEL & CHAMOMILE SOOTHING MASK (orange)

The colours! Lego like solid colours are LURVE!
And apparently most asian skincare companies seem to have noticed that, now even a round in a pharmacy piques my sugar cravings. I also understand that cute packaging may not affect people's purchasing decisions. I won't be influenced as well, yes, really. But it does brighten up my day just a bit HEHEH, in other words, it doesn't hurt.

Besides the conventional-type of sheet masks, they also carry the 2-Step ones. HAHA I'm new to this as well, so:
Step 1: After cleansing, remove mask from packaging and apply on face. Leave on for 10–15 minutes. Gently peel of mask and discard. Step 2: Apply gel cream evenly on face. Gently massage for better absorption.

WITCH HAZEL & CHAMOMILE SOOTHING MASK
  • Witch hazel is a natural astringent and has soothing efects on your skin.
  • Chamomile helps restore skin’s moisture and oil balance.
So I picked one to try, a smoothing one, in great hopes to calm down my raging skin from the late nights. The masks are packaged with another piece of perforated gloss paper to keep its shape, and likely perforated so as to ensure that the paper sheet is soaked thoroughly?

It is soaked, and there is still plenty of essence left over which I can barely hold with one cupped hand. I usually cringe when masks are too loaded with essence, such that the paper cannot hold it and it drips. This didn't happen, which I'm glad, though I made some mental preparation HAHAA

Fit It is not too big of a gripe as face shapes are different, although I might appreciate it more if the nose cutting can be a little longer. The paper sheet is thin (such that you can see some of the skin texture) but is not prone to tearing. You know when some thin-S masks that tear so GD easily especially when its soaked, no, not for this.

It does feel nice and cool and the essence isn't too sticky. I feel a layer of something after I peel it off, but it is not disturbing. Just like a layered gel moisturizer on my face. Unlike some korean masks, these aren't overly scented.
More diligent days to come! HAHA I'm pretty looking forward to more occasions that I can try out the other "flavours".

Cost For any lasting effects, you'd probably have to use it regularly, say once or twice a week. I'm more negligent on such pampering, I usually only have the luxury to use them if I stay at home during the siesta. Sometimes, it boils down to personal preference. I use sheet masks intermittently, so if I work it out, its not all that pricey.
