Clay has been used in skincare to absorb oil and is used abundantly as masks. Palau white clay is a sea clay from broken corals, it is known to absorb dirt, oil and surface dead cells which can result clog pores and dull skin. This particular soap uses white clay deposited at the bottom of Milky Way of Palau.

This product is safe for sensitive skin and babies.

Products with clay are usually targeted at peeps with oily or blemished skin and is known to be more drying. This soap is further enhanced with five kinds of botanical extracts to moisturize, soften and smoothen the skin. And of course being a clay mask, it is rich in natural minerals like magnesium, calcium and iron. Friends with sensitive skin will also be more comforted to know that this product is free from artificial colouring and fragrance.

My symptoms of PMS are bad, and my immune system is not decent enough to catch up with the healing, and I'm often left to battle with the scarring for the rest of the month. The red marks on my face stands out like constellations. Like the HadaLabo ES series,  the minerals strengthens the skin to reduce inflammation and irritations.
BEFORE: This is taken after the first use
I know you'll feel awkward having a close-up at my face, but the close-up is so as for you to not zoom in. Thanks.

Comes also with a spatula and foaming net

The soap was creamy and looks exactly like the mud fished from the southern oceans, it has no scent; not even the minerally-salty smell. Don't be deceived by the area spread on the foaming net, I didn't use a lot; it was only a thin film coated on it. With that amount however, the bubbles frothed up was very dense. Sometimes, I reconsider the option as an cosmetic chemist reading the press releases. You know, I think I'll be pretty satisfied formulating shampoos oh, and needless to say, I don't touch rats or rabbits.

The mircoscopic coral powder present in the ball of foam I created is capable of reaching into the pores to absorb residues of makeup, oil, dirt and softens the keratin layer. With the lathered soap, you use less amount of product per use and the bubbles cushions the skin during the wash so that is less tugging of the skin. The cleaning process felt very gentle and it gets rinsed off faster (less product wrt volume), leaving less residue on the skin. If that matters, bubbles also make face washing a lot more fun  : D!

The smile test works best to know If it is drying- after drying the face, if the skin especially on the cheeks doesn't feel tight, it is okay. HAHA I'm kidding. White clay is capable of retaining more moisture in the skin as compared to other clay. The skin is left clean and it entirely not striped off moisture with cleansing. Though my face did feel a little tight and a lot less oily, I did not have to compensate with a super moisturizing product or mask afterward.

I used this to wash my face for 3 nights, and noticed that the visibility of the blackheads on my nose have been significantly reduced. And I'm quite convinced that impurities are drawn out during cleansing. The debris in the pores get somewhat magnetically attracted to the bubbles and the adhesion of the bubbles pulls it out. My skin is also less sensitive, as seen from less redness. With continued usage, I have great hopes of it ridding the sight of the battle marks with acne.

I'm however, not intending to use this daily but only as a deep cleanser, lowering the frequency to about twice or thrice a week. I did not experience any purging with this product, despite it drawing impurities to the skin surface. In fact, both inflammation and the size of the pores are toned down.

AFTER: 3 days of usage
