I used to put my skin over a wringer made up of coarse sugar grains. And I wish I could rewind time such that the ice picks on my cheeks could be just a little less pronounced. I like exfoliation, but sometimes I forget to control the pressure for I'm a buff-human hybrid. I get somewhat overboard with scrubs consisting of natural seeds like the Himalaya products. While those with the mirco-beads hurts the environment, and I sometimes fear that they land into a deep pit on my cheeks and get buried there forever.

Looking For An Affordable & Effective Primer? Turn Here!
I usually only rock with my BB cream, no primer; nor blush and bronzer for the record. I didn't think much of it either, I mean if my makeup stays up solo, I wouldn't need a primer, right? Plus, I'm not exactly anal about staying perfect and poreless all the timeBut besides helping your makeup stay put longer, it also serves as a protective barrier between your skin and the makeup. This seals all the good stuff you layered on your skin before the makeup. Especially from the talc in pressed powders from absorbing the moisture out of your skin.

Now, after receiving and using this product, I realized that even the first point may not be true. I thought my makeup stays well, now it stays up better! I've oily skin, and exacerbated by the humid and hot weather of Singapore's, my dark eye circles will be once again revealed at the end of the day. To make this whole thing more serious, the time when I head home from work is near 12 midnight. Don't play play, countless of lives are at sake here.

Collection Cosmetics Primed and Ready Makeup Primer $16.90 / 18ml
The silky formula provides a light coverage for a flawless complexion and a noticeably natural finish. A soothing makeup base, it minimizes pore problems, smoothes uneven skin and hides unsightly blemishes for the perfect base.
Wear alone or under foundation for a flawless complexion.

[Skincare] Review: Beaute Forest Sheet Masks

Sheet masks as most of us are familiar with are well-known for their convenience. Just piak one on your face, lie back for about 15 minutes and peel them off. Though not in my "beauty routine",  I use them for important events and my makeup goes on like wee! (Not "wee" as in erhem, don't spoil the atmosphere!)
And, they make excellent travel companions!

How do they work? They cool down the skin surface to allow the contraction of the pores and the duration of masking (usually about 10-15 minutes) floods the skin with moisture. The formula of the essence is also a determinant on the extent of skin betterment.

From right:
 TRUFFLE & RESVERATROL WHITENING MASK(brown)
Q10 & SILK PROTEIN FINE FAIRNESS MASK (pink)
WITCH HAZEL & CHAMOMILE SOOTHING MASK (orange)

The colours! Lego like solid colours are LURVE!
And apparently most asian skincare companies seem to have noticed that, now even a round in a pharmacy piques my sugar cravings. I also understand that cute packaging may not affect people's purchasing decisions. I won't be influenced as well, yes, really. But it does brighten up my day just a bit HEHEH, in other words, it doesn't hurt.

Clay has been used in skincare to absorb oil and is used abundantly as masks. Palau white clay is a sea clay from broken corals, it is known to absorb dirt, oil and surface dead cells which can result clog pores and dull skin. This particular soap uses white clay deposited at the bottom of Milky Way of Palau.

[Lifestyle] The Time of The Month is Here, F Moodswings.

9:34 PM Cindity 0 Comments

Having a period is the best excuse ever. And it works pretty much for everything. "May I go to the toilet?" or "I can't go running today"  and "I don't want to eat this."
Periods weren't something that I react greatly to, I couldn't relate to most period complains until I ended JC; which I spend most of my days poking fun of friends who have a volcanic eruption underneath. What is this? Karma striking back? The cramps don't come alone, they partner with skull-crushing headaches, apocalyptic mood swings, and the whole thing!! (which I'll cut down details of)
Clearly, I haven't been aging gracefully.

How does it feel? The torture sometimes vary with the amount of punishment I deserve that month.
The futile war raging in the lower caverns feels like an army of little samurais piercing their needles into the nerve-filled walls of the lower abdomen. Each wave sends a sharp pain which I'm powerless to defend against. They can hold me in fetal position the entire day.

In the beginning, I was relentless about allowing things to run their course, I refused myself off any medications. And I still try to steer off them until the pain sometimes starts to interfere with my daily performance and state. So ladies and gentlemen, I present to you some things I try to brace myself for their arrival.
