| Directions: Dab cream on cheek forehead and chin. Apply cream to the forehead and move your index, middle and ring fingers in a spiral from left to right as if painting a dot. Softly move from the center of your chin towards the corners of your mouth. Finally, press on your face with both palms as if pushing through a huge water droplet. |
The cream is very lightweight and is easily absorbed by the skin and I need to highlight how just a gingko nut-sized amount is enough to cover my entire face as it spreads very well (a little goes a long way!) and keeps it moisturised all day long. I used to have oily skin when I was still playing sports but my skin tends to be drier now that I am always near the AC. I have honestly been the laziest when it comes to skincare and even a year ago I am not disciplined enough to stick to a skincare routine. It has always just been: washing my face twice a day, before and after bed, period. Now that I've decided to be more responsible for my complexion, Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream really makes a great daily moisturiser and should definitely be in every girl's skincare routine. Some products are not structured for humid weathers but I'm telling you guys that this cream is perfect for Singapore. My skin absolutely loves it and it has been embracing all the benefits Laneige promised. My skin has been behaving so well ever since and it is so noticeably dewy and acne-free these days that I can't be more thankful.
Moving on, we have Laneige Water Sleeping Mask.

| Directions: After washing the face at night, apply toner and emulsion right before going to bed. Dispense an appropriate amount and apply on the tip of the nose, cheeks, forehead, and chin in dots; breathe in the scent for 3 seconds. Spread gently along the texture of your face using outward strokes. After the product is absorbed into skin, leave it on overnight without washing the face. (Wash the face the next morning.) |
Sleeping masks are undeniably the easiest and most hassle-free masks to use, which is perfect for lazy bums. Although it is a mask and its texture is on a thicker side, you can feel that it is being absorbed non-stop instead of just remaining on your skin like how some leave-on masks feel. The one thing I don't really like about Laneige Water Sleeping Mask is that it feels sticky and you can't sleep with the side of your face on the pillow. I'm not sure if the stickiness helps with making the mask stay on your face through the night as you move around in your sleep, because unlike other sleeping masks, you can still feel a bit of the stickiness when you wake up (so the mask stayed! Yay!). SLEEPSCENT™, specially developed for Laneige Water Sleeping Mask, is an AMOREPACIFIC original, allowing skin to relax and boosting its ability to regenerate. The iconic scent also helps me to sleep better and faster which I appreciate. My skin feels very well-rested the next morning after rinsing away the mask so I don't have much complains!

If you know about Koreans' skincare routine, the number of K-beauty products Koreans use can get quite excessive and it does take a while to get used to the multi-step process. Once again, the essence is easily absorbed by the skin, leaving behind a light, soft velvety finish. It is always hard to find an essence that doesn't leave your face greasy but here it is. My face usually gets extremely oily after a long day of out and about. However, by including this one simple step in my skincare regime before my moisturizer, I was very much less oily at the end of the day!
