“Make-up can only make you look pretty on the outside but it doesn't help if you're ugly on the inside. Unless you eat the make-up.”
― Audrey Hepburn
My, she was a legend, wasn't she?

I love makeup too! *waves arms frantically* But I don't invest on expensive makeup, especially mascara. Disposing them after their short useful life of three months will break my heart. But how?! I love mascara, I like seeing through the jaw-dropping transformation of my sparse straight Asian lashes! This baby I'm introducing today costs no more than a mere dollar!
I know that this product may not be new to the market, but I thought that it is unfair for the product to get so many negative reviews (on Qoo10 listing) and decided to do it justice!

They also have an anti-fake system
don't Xiu Tai Cheapo products, they also have knock-offs one lehh!

Product:
Being highly raved in Asia  (made in China), this is one of the most value-for-money product in the industry. This is more of a lengthening than a volumizing mascara, but that's great news for someone who is not a fan of spider lashes. This is the first ever mascara, I mean this particular model (you knowwhatI mean!); that I bought for prom. I wasn't really sold by the harsh advertising of all those resistant formulas of mascaras as I was paranoid that my lashes will be botak with all the harsh tugging during removal. The mascara can be removed with lukewarm water.
Very black, while it does not volumize your lashes, it made it a lot more BLACK. Definitely a good thing.
*While this product contains some ingredients that might knock-off as nourishing ie. Vitamin E and honey wax, like all mascaras, it is supposed to serve its function as a mascara, not lash nutrient.

Application:
The length and volume is definitely buildable, one trick for thin lashes is to coat your lashes lightly first and allow it to dry before building up on the application with more coats. This serves as a backbone so that the lashes do not get dragged down by the heavy liquid.
If you die die must have the spider lashes, I guess you can also achieve that with this mascara. This is one of the trade secrets (LOL), while your first coat of mascara has yet to dry, dap some baby powder on your lashes, and then subsequently apply the next few coats. This creates, seriously spidery lashes. I'll take some photos and update here if I happen to do them, but I certainly prefer the 'natural' one.
How ironic it is when I'm talking about being "natural" when it comes to makeup.

One fine day, I reckoned that I've been on a long enough makeup fast and decided that I wanted to look 'prettier' for the day.
To see my bare lashes, you can refer to my Cinnamon Mask post.
Also, besides, the mascara, the other 'enhancements' I have on is some shimmer on the inner corner of my eyes and the Geo Grang Grang lenses, they are the only contacts I have at the moment as mascara wearing will probably leave Sadako scratches on my glasses. I did not curl my lashes prior to mascara application just because they have the potential to touch my eyebrows when they're too perky. No other makeup, I apologize for the state of my naked skin, they didn't really had a good yesternight.
(sorry for the low quality photos, they were captured off my phone, but I guess my lashes are still visible in the photos.)

LOL, the left photo has NO filter, IDK why does it appear to be so dreamy, then I realized its just my dirty lens :S
Deception!

Check back at 1:30PM
My cheeks were a little rosy as there was a little exercising done.
There was a panic attack when I'm rushing to get my assignment submitted.
The mascara is still intact, no flakes or smudges.

This was the last check back at 6:30PM
There were little smudges around the outer corners of my under eye in addition to the little flakes of mascara dropping down.
They can be cleaned up pretty easily, but usually when this happen, you might need a touch up. Otherwise, await for the precede of a domino effect.
I took my contacts out immediately after this photo and washed them off.
Soluble lashes!

Yay or nay?
While I don't put on this mascara when I'm outdoors, as they will smudge pretty badly being not water resistant. They are sadly, not as waterproof as stated, but it could be due to their gentle formulation. Also, even indoors, after prolonged period of wearing, it will start hinting to you that "it's time is up" by flaking off your lashes. The only way to touch up is to remove and reapply it again.
I would still, give this mascara a YAY, just because it is price worthy and it held up pretty well until maybe until 5PM (that's near 10 hours!) PLUS, removing it wasn't too much a hassle, I can be pretty rough on my face and my lashes had been near botak before.

Repurchase: Yes, I'm putting it in my HG list! I'm already restocked with 3 more of them!

Also, happening in Cindy-ville...
This brought back such good memories. You'll be put in my box of 'childhood'.
