[Shopping] iHerb Refund Experience

Ohh Heyyy!! Thought I had forgot about this space, didn't you? :) HEHEH Sorry for the lack of posts. But you see, I had been wading through my semester in school. You know, doing the usual - sitting in front of the computer and trying not to get distracted by everything, which wasn't interesting until school has started.

So retail therapy is a bad side effect, from school using the computer.

*Disclaimer: This is not an advertorial or a sponsored post.

Are you sometimes irritated how local stores hike up prices of healthcare and other cosmetic items? I get really upset. And its not just me, my wallet complains to me as well. So does my debit card. But I need to feed my face. I've a great health supplement, beauty products and grocery site to share with you guys today, and I wouldn't be surprised if y'all have heard of or purchased from it.

I've recently ordered a few items, including my new favourite - Palmer's Skin therapy Oil for face from iHerb.com. But there are leaky bottles. :(

What is iHerb

iHerb.com is a US-based nutritional supplements and health products vendor and they ship both within and out of the US. They carry a huge selection of high-quality products and offer fast registered shipping. And the best of all would be their Rewards Program where existing customers gets reward credits if they refer to another customer to iHerb!
And for a new customer who uses a reward code, they get up to USD$10 off their first purchase, USD$5 if your spending is less than USD$40.

Shipping to Singapore and Australia is a flat $4 in your own currency. And will be waived off for orders above USD$60. Fragile items are delicately wrapped and the box stuffed up with air pillows into a carton box.

How to Get a Refund

As I've mentioned above, there are leaky bottles of the Palmer's Face Oil. HEHEH And as you can tell, I've bought quite a few. (They were also having an additional 20% off, I couldn't resist).
Also, as you can see, around 2/3 of the bottle is left. The cap is tight and the glass is not broken, but it hurts my head to think too hard. Let me say something, it is not a big deal, the remaining product can still be used. And lastly, as you might have guessed, I got a full refund for them.

The usual practice is to check your parcel immediately; but some of us are just rebellious or went for a holiday, idk whatever. HAHA The good news is that, up to 60 days is given for an exchange/refund.
So should you face any of such problems, simply email your order number, and photos of the damaged merchandise to their customer service at info@iherb.com. Usually an refund is processed for overseas purchases, considering how troublesome and laborious these exchanges will usually be.

The customer service is polite and generally speedy. I've got everything settled within the same day, and it is not even a weekday.

Please Note: The amount credited will be impacted by any discount(s) on your order. Also, if you have credits from multiple orders, you will receive an email from each order.

Guess that is a pleasant experience. The best way to experience it for yourself is to go to their site and see what they have to offer. But my advice is not to browse, because you'll never buy only what you need. Ohh, another thing - some drugs/ supplements sold are usually prescribed, and it is better to seek your doctor's opinion before purchasing.
